Inspiring citizenship info session with Fryshuset and My Dream Now
In a full meeting room last Tuesday at the Stockholm office, Entercard were welcoming their partners Fryshuset and My Dream Now for a citizenship info session. Jennifer Ericsson from My Dream Now and Fatima Åsgard from Fryshuset, founder of the project “Barn till Ensamma mammor” (”Children to single mothers”) had inspiring presentations about their projects for young people and talked about how Entercard’s employees can contribute in this important work.
- Engaging in citizenship activities in order to support others have become a part of Entercard’s culture. We hope learning more about our partners will attract even more employees to contribute. The class coaching program and company visit gives us an important opportunity to inspire and connect with the next generation workforce, says Melita Ringvold, Head of Communication and Citizenship at Entercard.
Entercard has been a partner to Fryshuset’s projects “Lovely days” and “Barn till ensamma mammor” for many years, and the support makes a difference.
- Every little effort makes a big difference for these kids. Just to see and support them can have major impact on their childhood. With few resources and time, we can all make an important contribution. All possible support is appreciated, and if you have activities you think might fit Fryshuset, you are more than welcome to present it, says Fatima Åsgard from Fryshuset, founder of one of the project, “Barn till ensamma mammor”.
My Dream Now became a new partner for Entercard this spring. During the citizenship session, Jennifer Ericsson from My Dream Now spoke about their work against segregation and youth unemployment, social sustainability and how Entercard, can become the young students’ link between school and work life. My Dream Now has a Class coaching program, which many of Entercard’s employees has signed up for this autumn.
