EnterCard and Coop Sweden enter a new partnership

EnterCard Group AB and Coop Sweden AB have entered into a partnership agreement where EnterCard, as new credit provider, will provide credit cards to Coop’s Swedish members. The new partnership means that Coop’s credit cards will be upgraded with several new features and services in March this year.

Coop today provides three credit cards to its members together with MedMera Bank. On March 5, 2019, they will be replaced by new cards provided by EnterCard as a new partner to Coop.

“We are looking forward to the new partnership with EnterCard, which already in the beginning will offer our members credit cards with several new features and services”, says Karin Friis, Head of Coop Member.

EnterCard is one of Scandinavian’s leading credit market companies, partly owned by Swedbank. As one of the leading specialists within credit cards and private loans in Scandinavia, EnterCard becomes an important partner for developing Coop’s payment offer to members.

The new credit cards are ready for use from March 5 and the cards will have the same basic functionality as the previous cards. In addition, there will also be several new features and services, such as contactless payments, e-invoice and extended insurance.
