Entercard starts using recycled plastic in credit cards

From September 2022, Entercard will start to transition its credit card portfolio to recycled plastic. The cards will be made with at least 85, 5% recycled plastic, obtained from local plastic waste, close to where Entercard’s card producer Idemia's production sites are located. There will therefore be no long-distance transport of the plastic before it ends up in production.

At EnterCard we are conscious of how we impact society as an employer, lender, business partner and stakeholder. We have ambitious goals both as a company and for each individual employee when it comes to how we impact the world around us. To monitor and communicate this, EnterCard reports on sustainability in an annual sustainability report.

Entercard met with young entrepreneurs in Akershus

In the end of January, Entercard met young entrepreneurs at the Youth Entrepreneurship (Ungt Entreprenørskap) Local Championships. Four Entercard employees were in the juries, and the students competed for prizes such as the Sustainability Award, Best Sales Team and Best HR. This is part of Entercard’s work with citizenship where we seek to support young talents by using our competence.

New perspectives through volunteering at Blue Cross in Oslo

Entercard, engage in citizenship projects by using our strengths to support others. Through Entercard's collaboration with Blue Cross in Oslo some of our employees have volunteered as “tidgivere” in a project called “Steg for steg”. We have talked with Dag Bjanes, Department Manager for Card Operations, about his experiences as “tidgiver”.
